The patient should be made to understand that he or she must take charge of his own life.
Don't take your body to the doctor as if he were a repair shop.

Water
This is probably the single most important thing you can do for your health - just add water. Without water we cannot have life. It was necessary for life on earth, and it is necessary four our own health.
We know that water hydrates. Everyone says you should drink 8-10 eight ounce glasses of water per day, but do you really know why?
Every day we bathe to clean our bodies of dirt, sweat and dead skin. If you skip a day you start to feel dirty and oily. Believe it or not, the same happens on the inside. Every minute of every day your body produces toxins and other waste products as a result of digestion. We also need to consider the blood cells that regularly die and need to be flushed out and all the chemicals that build up in our bodies as a result of our environment. Our interiors also need a 'bath' every day to help eliminate all this toxic build-up. We accomplish this by drinking water. It is the universal solvent.
Dehydration is a contributing factor to many diseases; many people are simply dehydrated. Do you feel pressure in your head? Try drinking a glass of water. Are you constipated? Just add water.
Avoid city tap water due to the chemicals. Contrary to popular belief, chlorine and fluoride, both found in city water, are toxic to your health. Do use an activated carbon water filter. If you are on a well, have your water analyzed to ensure it is free of the basic harmful substances and drink away!
But water is the base for coffee and tea, right? Well yes, but no. The caffeine in these beverages actually acts as a diuretic. You actually end up eliminating more water than you take in with that one beverage.
